KUALA LUMPUR, May 7 (Bernama) -- The United States Army Pacific (USARPAC) will host the Land Forces Pacific Symposium (LANPAC) 2025 in Honolulu, Hawaii from May 13 to 15, bringing together senior military leaders from across the Indo-Pacific to strengthen partnerships and address emerging security challenges.

Themed ‘Prevailing Through Land Power’, the symposium will feature 32 delegations including 16 Chiefs of Army, as well as defence officials, industry representatives, and academic experts.

USARPAC Commanding General, General Ronald Clark, said LANPAC is a ‘visible symbol’ of the strength of the US Army’s strategic land power network, and demonstrates the resilience of partnerships and the collective commitment to regional stability.

“Partnerships built on trust are central to US strategy in the Indo-Pacific, allowing for closer cooperation in military deterrence, humanitarian assistance, and disaster response,” he said in a digital press briefing organised by the US Department of State’s Asia-Pacific Media Hub on Wednesday.

Clark said integrating industry and academic leaders in discussions is important, adding that military modernisation must include allies and partners.

“Our ability to sit and work together and talk through the challenges we're all experiencing and work together on some achievable solutions is very important,” he said.

The symposium will feature ‘Commander's Corner’ engagements where commanders of the US Army’s cutting-edge Multi-Domain Task Forces (MDTFs) will discuss new capabilities, particularly in areas such as long-range precision fires, cyber, space, and information operations.

As part of the US military transformation, Clark said the US Army is making its formations more mobile, more lethal, and more survivable and resilient, equipping soldiers with capabilities to deter adversaries effectively.
