Cambodian Senate President Hun Sen urged Vietnam to support Timor-Leste becoming a full member of ASEAN. He conveyed the message to Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. Timor-Leste’s inclusion will help develop its economy and people's livelihood.

 

2.PM ASSURES DECENT WORKPLACE FOR WORKERS -- THE PHNOM PENH POST

In conjunction with the Labour Day celebration, Prime Minister Hun Manet said the government will create decent working conditions for workers. It will also promote sustainable and resilient long-term growth to benefit of workers and employees.

The Centre for Economic and Business Research forecasts Vietnam to emerge as the second-largest economy in Southeast Asia after Indonesia and the 20th-largest economy in the world by 2036. It was revealed in its “World Economic League Table 2022” report.
