KUALA LUMPUR, May 8 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed lower in line with the weaker cash market performance.
May 2025 slipped 6.5 points to 1,538.5, June 2025 declined 5.5 points to 1,537.5, September 2025 dipped 2.5 points to 1,524.0, and December 2025 fell 3.5 points to 1,533.0
Turnover advanced to 6,458 lots from 4,344 lots on Wednesday, while open interest rose to 38,679 contracts from 36,250 previously.
At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI slipped 0.46 per cent, or 7.16 points, to 1,542.74 from yesterday’s close of 1,549.90
