KUALA LUMPUR, April 11 (Bernama) -- Bursa Malaysia ended the morning session lower, trading in cautious mode as market volatility remained elevated and participants continued to cut down on risk.

At 12.30 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) fell 7.73 points to 1,455.40 from yesterday’s close of 1,463.13.

The benchmark index opened 21.47 points lower at 1,441.66 and moved between 1,434.92 and 1,456.92 and 1,473.36 during the morning trading session.

ActivTrades trader Anderson Alves noted that investors' attention is now focused on news regarding tariffs and how market participants will adjust their exposure going forward.

"This reaction was further exacerbated by a report citing potential additional measures — including the possible delisting of Chinese companies from US exchanges,” he told Bernama.
