DIRECT LINE TO 100 GOVT AGENCIES AT MADANI RAKYAT JOHOR 2025 CARNIVAL

JOHOR BAHRU, May 22 (Bernama) -- The MADANI Rakyat (PMR) 2025 Johor Programme to be held at the Toppen Shopping Centre (14 kilometres from city centre) for three days from May 23-25 will make available more than 100 current services provided by Federal and Johor state agencies.

Final preparations are underway and  24 booths will be operating to facilitate visitors who have unfinished government business.

Themed “Belia MADANI, Yakin Boleh!”, the programme is scheduled to be opened by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim at 3 pm tomorrow.

The programme, organised by the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) through the Performance Surge Coordination Unit (PACU) with the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) as the lead ministry and Johor as host, is part of the government's ongoing efforts under the Malaysia MADANI framework to bring government services directly to the people in selected states.

Also to be held will be the MADANI Rahmah Sale which offers 10 to 30 per cent  discounts on daily necessities, slots for visitors to engage in various topics and current issues with ministries and agencies, as well as side attractions including the National Youth Day Celebration, sports competitions such as badminton, table-tennis, netball, pickle ball, chess, eSports (Mobile Legend), aerobicton, People's Comedy Festival and Viral Foods Sale.

The carnival, which starts from 10 am to 9 pm on Friday and Saturday and on Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm, also stages corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities by government-linked companies (GLCs).
