AL-SULTAN ABDULLAH, TUNKU AZIZAH EXTEND TEACHERS' DAY GREETINGS

KUANTAN, May 16  (Bernama) -- The Sultan of Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and Tengku Ampuan Pahang Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah today conveyed their Teachers’ Day greetings to all educators in Pahang and across the country.

In a post on the Pahang Sultanate’s official Facebook page, Their Royal Highnesses described teachers as the torchbearers of knowledge who guide future generations.

“The dedication, sacrifices and commitment shown by teachers in educating the nation's children are deeply appreciated and held in the highest regard. Without teachers, the success and progress achieved by the country would not be possible,” the post read.

Their Highnesses also prayed that all educators continue to be blessed with good health, strength and divine grace in carrying out their noble responsibilities.

“Indeed, a teacher’s service remains eternal in the nation’s history. Guru Junjung Kasih, Bangsa Menjulang Budi,” the royal couple said.

Meanwhile, Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail, in a Facebook post described teachers not only as educators, but also as agents of change who shape knowledgeable, well-mannered and competitive individuals.

“In today’s digital era, teachers have proven their ability to adapt to technological advancements, remain creative in their pedagogy and steadfast as role models for students,” he said.

Wan Rosdy also thanked all teachers in Malaysia, especially in Pahang, for their dedication and efforts in helping students find their identity and succeed in life.

“May all teachers continue to be blessed with good health and the abundance of Allah’s grace. Happy Teachers’ Day 2025,” he said.
