PUTRAJAYA, May 8 (Bernama) -- Tunku Tun Aminah Sultan Ibrahim graced the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT) with a royal visit today.
According to a post on the KPKT Facebook page, Tunku Aminah was greeted by Minister Nga Kor Ming and ministry staff.
During the two-hour visit, Nga and Tunku Aminah discussed various issues, including community development, green initiatives, and strategic collaborations to enhance people’s well-being.
It said that Nga also presented the report card on KPKT’s achievements for 2024, including its key initiatives and the impact of the programmes on the people, which earned KPKT the National Development Award.
“It included highlights from the 2024 National Landscape Day programme, which made history when it was officiated by His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, and attended by Tunku Aminah,” read the post.
It said that Tunku Aminah took time to view several assets of the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department displayed on the compound, offering a glimpse into the department’s preparedness and capabilities in protecting public safety.
“KPKT deeply appreciates this visit and extends our gratitude to Tunku Aminah for spending time with the ministry’s staff. May this strong rapport continue to open up meaningful collaboration opportunities for developing an inclusive, peaceful, and prosperous community,” it added.
