KUALA LUMPUR, April 21 (Bernama) -- Perbadanan PR1MA Malaysia (PR1MA), through its M-Niaga initiative, has introduced 256 commercial units valued at RM160.15 million to support small and medium-sized businesses within PR1MA residential areas.
M-Niaga aligns with PR1MA’s vision to foster vibrant, economically resilient communities.
PR1MA Group chief executive officer Datuk Seri Mohd Nazri Md Shariff said that the launch of M-Niaga underscores PR1MA’s ongoing commitment to empowering local communities by providing sustainable economic opportunities.
“We believe this initiative is crucial in enhancing the standard of living for residents and fostering a competitive business ecosystem, in line with our commitment to delivering integrated, inclusive, and sustainable development,” he said in a statement.
Meanwhile, Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming, in the same statement, said that PR1MA's launch of M-Niaga aligns with the MADANI Government's objective of improving the quality of life for the people while promoting both local physical and socio-economic development.
“I would like to congratulate PR1MA for this meaningful initiative. I believe that M-Niaga has the potential to not only foster a more conducive community but also create a dynamic, innovative, and competitive business environment, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises,” said Nga at the M-Niaga launch last Friday.
According to the statement, the commercial units, ranging from 689 to 5,803 square feet, feature flexible designs and practical layouts tailored to suit a variety of business needs. Strategically situated in rapidly developing areas, these units ensure high visibility and optimal traffic flow for traders.
“With prices starting at RM289,800, M-Niaga commercial units are available in Selangor, Perak, Melaka, Kedah, Kelantan, Johor, Sabah, and Sarawak,” the statement read.
The M-Niaga initiative highlights PR1MA's commitment to expanding beyond its core role as a provider of quality affordable housing, positioning itself as a key driver of community development aimed at enhancing the overall standard of living for residents.
