KUALA LUMPUR, April 16 (Bernama) -- Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), local brands, and affiliate content creators in Malaysia recorded a sales growth of 100 percent on TikTok Shop during its recent Raikan Raya 2025 event.
In a statement today, TikTok Shop Malaysia said the surge was driven by more diverse collaborations between sellers and creators, involving over three million affiliate content creators and more than 1.7 million local sellers.
“High consumer demand was seen across key festive product categories, with Muslim fashion, beauty and personal care, as well as food and beverages emerging as the top-selling segments throughout Ramadan and Aidilfitri this year.
“The average number of orders per customer more than doubled compared to non-campaign periods, while annual sales for authentic and premium brands on TikTok Shop Mall grew by nearly 1.2 times overall,” the statement read.
TikTok Shop Malaysia’s director of Strategic Partnerships, Nur Azre Abdul Aziz, said the 100 percent year-on-year sales growth reflects the platform’s expanding community, rising consumer purchasing power, and stronger public-private collaboration.
“TikTok Shop remains committed to helping more Malaysians build sustainable livelihoods through e-commerce, as we continue to build on this momentum,” the statement added.
Among the award recipients for the Raikan Raya 2025 celebration were Anas Zahrin, named Best Creator; Khairul Aming, awarded Best Livestream; ELGINI Malaysia, recognised as Best Lifestyle Seller; and Bulan Bintang, honoured as Best Fashion Seller.
Other winners included Nur Food for Best Daily Essentials Seller, Skintific Malaysia for Best Beauty and Personal Care Seller, GOOJODOQ Malaysia for Best Electronics Seller, and LadyBossRafa for Best Health Seller.
Bulan Bintang founder Azzim Zahid Azmi described the brand’s win as a proud achievement.
“This unique platform has enabled us to go beyond the limits of traditional retail, transforming festive campaigns into meaningful connections with our customers.
“TikTok Shop is more than just a sales channel. It’s a meeting point for e-commerce, culture, storytelling, and real-time interaction. We’re proud to continue growing alongside this platform that supports Malaysian brands,” he said.
Entrepreneurs, local MSMEs, and brands looking to unlock their full potential through e-commerce can register through the TikTok Shop Seller Centre and take advantage of the training offered by the TikTok Shop Academy.
