In Kelantan, Anwar is expected to begin his day with a closed-door meeting with Menteri Besar Datuk Mohd Nassuruddin Daud at the Kota Darulnaim Complex in Kota Bharu at 9 am, before attending the Aidilfitri celebration,  themed “Ihsan Menyentuh Jiwa, Toleransi Menyatu Negara”.

The celebration, open to people from all walks of life regardless of race, religion, or background, aims to foster unity, harmony, and a spirit of togetherness.

Attendees can look forward to vibrant cultural performances, an array of traditional delicacies, and a friendly meet-and-greet session with the Prime Minister - making it not just a festive gathering, but a truly meaningful experience shared by all.

After concluding the event in Kelantan, the Prime Minister will continue the MADANI Aidilfitri 2025 festivities in Penang, with the celebration scheduled at 4 pm at the PICCA Convention Centre @Arena Butterworth.

The event, jointly organised by the Penang government and the Ministry of Human Resources as the lead ministry, will be from 2.30 pm to 5 pm.

Human Resources Minister Steven Sim Chee Keong and Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow will accompany the prime minister.

Before joining the people of Penang for the celebration, Anwar, who is former Permatang Pauh Member of Parliament, will attend the groundbreaking ceremony for the reconstruction of Masjid Jamek Cherok Tokun Bawah in Permatang Pauh at 2.00 pm.

Guests at the Aidilfitri event can look forward to a sumptuous spread of traditional dishes, including grilled lamb, Penang laksa, curry noodles, nasi impit with peanut sauce, lemang, ketupat, satay, roti jala, squid noodles, cendol, pasembor, and apam balik, alongside several special delicacies unique to Penang.

According to the Prime Minister's Office Performance Improvement Coordination Unit (PACU), the celebration is more than just a festive occasion, it is a meaningful platform to strengthen community bonds and promote unity through shared cultural, traditional, and social values.

The MADANI Aidilfitri 2025 Celebration first kicked off in Melaka on April 5 as the national-level launch, before moving on to Pahang yesterday, and continues today in Kelantan and Penang.
