Menlo Security, Google Cloud WAN To Provide Seamless Zero Trust Access

KUALA LUMPUR, April 10 (Bernama) -- Menlo Security, the pioneer of browser security, has announced the inclusion of its Secure Application Access into Cloud WAN, a new wide area network solution from Google Cloud.

This integration enables organisations to implement Zero Trust Access for both software as a service (SaaS) and private applications without requiring additional network hardware, streamlining secure access for users across managed, bring your own device (BYOD), and unmanaged devices.

In a statement, Menlo Security chief executive officer and co-founder, Amir Ben-Efraim emphasised that today's distributed workforces need both simplicity and strong security. He noted that the integration with Google Cloud WAN makes it possible to deliver secure, device-agnostic access through the browser itself.

As enterprise work models continue to adapt, especially with hybrid environments, there is a growing demand for secure, seamless application access across all types of devices—including those used by contractors or consultants.

Menlo’s solution meets this need by offering both client-based and clientless access, maintaining separation between users and applications, and providing easy, rapid deployment—all while removing the complexity and poor user experiences often associated with older technologies like virtual private networks (VPNs), virtual desktop infrastructure (VDIs), and traditional Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) tools.

This integration builds upon Menlo Security’s established partnership with Google Cloud to deliver advanced and comprehensive Workspace Security solutions for enterprises, in addition to its recent integration with Google Chrome’s posture application programming interface (API) to simplify Zero Trust Access for enterprises.
